We begin with the end in mind, which means, before Tara ever picks up the camera, we have a plan for where and how these photos will hang in your home or the story we want to tell in your family album.

​Do you have a place in your home where you want images to live? Perhaps you want to start a family gallery incorporating older images with the new portraits you are commissioning. Are you moving soon or live in a house with no wall space? Telling your family’s story in a luxurious, custom-designed album lets you capture and preserve this stage of your children’s lives. Your unique needs and concerns will guide your one-on-one Consultation with Tara.

The Consultation. Tell Me.

The consultation with Tara kicks off the process. Tara wants the scoop on your family and kids. What are their personalities like? Understanding your family dynamics allows her to capture their personalities and their relationships as they really are. Every session includes a family questionnaire which informs the session and builds the story of your family. 

Your every question will be answered, including:
  • What types of clothing photograph best.
  • A full understanding of the investment you’ll be making.
  • The most suitable areas of your home for your family portraits.
  • And other burning questions...

The Session. Let's Connect.

Imagine a photo session where it's all about connecting and relaxing, and being with what is, we get it all. Together we will spend some fun time together engaging and connecting with your kids. That produces authentic images that capture the spirit of your family and a moment in a fleeting time. 

You will come out of your session with photographs that capture a time in your family history or a milestone. The first newborn, the baby that is just walking, your amazingly cute kindergartener,  all the way up to a child visiting from college! It happens fast doesn't it?

View and Order. Leave a Legacy of Love.

Approximately two weeks after your photo shoot, Tara will come to your home for your View and Order appointment. 

​Your View and Order appointment is the time set aside to finalize your portrait order, so be sure and schedule a time when both mom and dad can be there.

Tara will guide you every step of the way using your goals from the consultation to achieve your vision for your family portraits.
